All campuses meet standard on state’s accountability system

Irving ISD and all 33 campuses that are rated achieved the rating of Met Standard in the 2016 state accountability ratings released last week by the Texas Education Agency.

“This is the first time since the advent of the 2013 accountability year that we’ve had all of our campuses and the district meet standard, which means there are no Improvement Required campuses in the district at all,” Superintendent of Schools Jose L. Parra, Ed.D. said. “When I got here [in 2014], we had six, went down to two, went down to one, and now we don’t have any.”
