Behind The Scenes at Alamo Drafthouse Las Colinas [PHOTOS/VIDEO]

Las Colinas’ newest movie house is open for business.

Alamo Drafthouse Las Colinas recently held a behind-the-scenes tour of their newest facility. The new theater, located at the Toyota Music Factory, will feature 7 screen and seating for over 700 people, as well as a 3rd floor kitchen and a patio bar overlooking the Music Factory. While every Alamo Drafthouse has a unique look, the team behind the Las Colinas location decided to use a well-known name in the community for their theme:

“Given its proximity to the John W. Carpenter Freeway, named for the Texas businessman and agriculturist, the Alamo Drafthouse creative team decided to have a bit of cheeky fun. The signature theme of the lobby and walkways honor a very different John Carpenter, the legendary filmmaker behind “Halloween,” “The Thing,” and “Escape From New York.””

Alamo Drafthouse’s soft opening is April 17th, and will offer discounts on food and non-alcoholic beverages. The grand opening is slated for May 1st, 2018. You can view a video as well as photographs for the tour below:
