
Grand Prairie – During its April 21 meeting, Grand Prairie city council approved the creation of a public improvement district (PID).
The Crescent Heights PID will be located on the southeast corner of Freetown Road and SW 3rd Street. A PID is an area established to provide specific improvements or maintenance items financed by property assessments in the area. These include landscaping, irrigation, sidewalk construction or improvements and other various projects. The assessment rate for the 13.1 acre area will be $0.16 per $100 appraised value.
