The Warriors end their regular season 7-3 with a 12-10 victory over Lamar. Their playoffs begin with a visit to 9-1 Lake Highlands on Friday. The team’s only touchdown came on sophomore Jaden Stanley’s only official carry of the game, which was a one-yarder at the goal line. The game went to overtime at 10-10, and in the third OT, it was Stanley again. He ran in a 2-point conversion try to win it in dramatic fashion.

The Gophers make the playoffs at 6-4, after finishing their regular season a week ago. They stand at 6-4, and play 4-6 Berkner on Friday.

The Gophers lost to Martin 66-20 on Friday in a game that was for the District 8-6A title. The team had been undefeated in district play and won five straight heading in. Senior Savion Red accounted for all three Gopher scores, two through the air (5-8 for 125 yards) and one (10 carries for 63 yards). Junior Adrian Wilson caught 4 of those 5 passes, for 121 yards and both touchdowns. Martin is the 11th ranked team in all of Texas.

The Cowboys fell to Flower Mound 45-21 to end their season, finishing with a 4-6 record. Junior quarterback Jack Fishpaw completed 26-37 passes for 3 touchdowns and a pick, accumulating 270 yards in the process. Senior Charlie Barker caught 7 of those balls for 87 yards and a score.
Nimitz (playoffs)

The Vikings finish the regular season 5-5 following a 14-7 loss to Berkner. They will visit Martin on Thursday, November 11 for their first playoff game since 2015. Senior Eric Williams ran for 122 yards and a touchdown. Senior J’Den Hall put up 5 tackles, 1 TFL and 1 sack, also adding 37 yards rushing on offense.

The Wolves finished their season last week 0-9 after a 34-0 loss to Anna.
Irving (final game)

The Tigers fell to 2-8 to close the year, losing to Lake Highlands 56-14. Senior running back Jaycob Vine totaled 71 scrimmage yards and ran it in for a score. Junior Adrian Medina was 8-17 passing, good for 65 yards, and threw one interception.
Faustina Academy (final game)
The Falcons end their season 9-1 with a 60-13 victory over Texoma Christian.
