Irving Police Investigating Drive-By Murder

Irving – On Thursday, February 10, 2022, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Irving officers responded to a shooting in the 8800 block of N. MacArthur Blvd. The victim’s vehicle stopped at the red light in the center lane and the suspect’s vehicle stopped in the left lane. The front seat passenger of the suspect vehicle leaned his arm out the window and shot the victim several times. The suspect vehicle then fled, traveling southbound. The suspect vehicle is described as possibly a 2018 Toyota Corolla, slate metallic color, dark tinted windows. At the time of the shooting, the vehicle’s license plates were covered.

The deceased victim, a 19-year-old male, was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital. The victim’s name is not currently being released to allow for next of kin notifications. The Irving Police Department requests
