Bass tournament supports officers

Grand Prairie—The Grand Prairie Police Association hosted its 20th annual Brother Blue Bass Tournament at Joe Pool Lake on Sept. 21. The event raises funds for officers injured in the line of duty, facing financial hardships, and to support their families.

Eric Starmater and Blake Slater placed first with a 4.67-pound catch. John Murray and Corey Murray took second place with a 4.41-pound catch, and third place went to Justin Hossler and Kenny Magar with a 4.37-pound catch.
