Police update investigation into offenses by medical assistant

Irving—Update: Angel Nunez was arrested by the Irving Police Department on a second charge of Indecency with a Child on Oct. 9. This offense is documented in Irving PD report #24-20855 and is for a 9-year-old victim who Nunez had inappropriate sexual contact with in January of 2024 at Little Spurs Pediatrics in Irving. The circumstances surrounding this Indecency with a Child offense were similar to the other two victims in August of 2024. Nunez currently has 2 charges for Indecency with a Child. The investigation is ongoing. 

The police encourage anyone who could have interacted with Nunez to discuss this with their children, family members, and friends.

In late August, the Irving Police Department was made aware of an Indecency with a Child offense that occurred at Little Spurs Pediatrics in Irving. 

During the investigation, it was found the suspect, Angel Nunez, 25, who Little Spurs Pediatrics employed as a medical assistant, had inappropriate sexual contact with multiple juvenile patients on separate occasions. These patients believed they were receiving a medical exam and were not aware at the time that they were being abused. 

The suspect worked at multiple Little Spurs Pediatrics locations, including Irving, Grand Prairie, Arlington, and Fort Worth, between August of 2023 and August of 2024. Nunez was arrested on Sept. 5 for Indecency with a Child and bonded out of the Dallas County Jail on a $100,000 bond on Sept. 7. 

Little Spurs Pediatrics has been fully cooperative during this investigation.
