Teen arrested for murder

Irving—The Irving Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the 160 block of Cowboys Pkwy on Oct. 26, at approximately 3:10 p.m. Upon arrival, the police found one victim was deceased. The victim was later identified as Cidrik Calhoune, 18 years of age. Investigations led to a positive identification of the shooter as Khalil Phillip Lavell Townsend, 17 years of age.  

The Irving Police Department successfully located and arrested Townsend on Oct. 28. Townsend is charged with murder and currently resides in the Irving Jail awaiting bond.
