Police seek suspect

Irving—The Irving Police Department responded to shots fired in the 1100 block of Hidden Ridge on Feb. 14 at approximately 4 a.m. 

Upon arrival, officers encountered two victims suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The suspect, Luis Enrique Moreno, was identified by witnesses. Through investigative efforts it was discovered that Moreno resided in the 800 block of Lake Carolyn Pkwy. 

When the suspect's car was discovered, officers began setting up a perimeter, while obtaining the necessary arrest and search warrants. Out of an abundance of caution, residents in the area were asked to shelter in place while the operation took place. 

Unfortunately, when officers entered Moreno's apartment, he was not found. Moreno is currently wanted for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
