From the City of Coppell: DART Silver Line Upcoming Traffic Impacts

DART will be working on Silver Line rail crossings in Coppell throughout next week, resulting in three separate daytime full closures:

  • Freeport Parkway at DART railroad

  • Tuesday, March 18 | 7 am - 9 pm

  • Freeport Parkway near Southwestern Boulevard and Burns Street will be fully closed from 7 am - 9 pm on Tuesday, March 18.


  • Royal Lane at DART railroad

  • Thursday, March 20 | 7 am - 9 pm

  • Royal Lane, between Technology Road and just north of Gateway Boulevard, will be fully closed from 7 am - 9  pm on Thursday, March 20.


  • MacArthur Boulevard at DART railroad

  • Saturday, March 22 | 7 am - 9 pm

  • MacArthur Boulevard near E. Belt Line Road will be fully closed from 7 am - 9 pm on Saturday, March 22.

While traffic will be detoured around some of the closures, motorists are advised to choose an alternate route if possible to avoid delays.
