From the City of Coppell: Help Shape Coppell’s Future: Join the City’s Budget Town Hall Meeting
March 17, 2025
COPPELL, TX – What matters most to you in Coppell? Whether it’s parks, public safety, community programs, or infrastructure, your input helps guide how the City prioritizes projects and services. Join us for the annual Budget Town Hall meeting at 6 pm on Thursday, April 10, at the Cozby Library & Community Commons, 177 N Heartz Road, to share your thoughts and learn more about how City funding decisions are made.
“The City of Coppell is committed to serving the community and making thoughtful, strategic decisions about how we allocate resources,” said Mayor Wes Mays. “We want to hear what’s important to you, and while we have to balance community needs with financial realities, your input helps shape the budget and the future of Coppell.”
The Budget Town Hall will provide attendees the opportunity to engage with City leadership and discuss potential priorities. Residents will have a chance to learn more about key services, share ideas, and ask questions about how projects are funded.
The City’s Vision 2040 plan, developed by the community, for the community, serves as a roadmap for Coppell’s long-term success. Each year, the City Council evaluates this plan to align budget priorities with community goals.
“Your voice is an essential part of the process,” continued Mays. “While we plan for both existing services and new initiatives, we want to ensure that our budget reflects the community’s priorities. Your input helps us make informed decisions that keep Coppell thriving.”
Residents are encouraged to attend and be part of the conversation! To learn more about the budget process, visit coppelltx.gov/budget. If you have a budget-related question or comment, email budgetinput@coppelltx.gov.
A healthy Dallas County requires great community news.
