Dallas: Sweet Tooth Festival

Come enjoy food from over 20 different food vendors from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and surrounding States. The Dallas Sweet Tooth Festival will be a mix of cakes, cookies, chocolate, candy, funnel cakes & more. There will be several other small business vendors including clothing, Accessories, jewelry, bath & body, men's wear, health, and so much more.
This dynamic event honors African American freedom, heritage, and culture through music, food, art, education, and community connection. More than just a festival, it serves as a powerful platform for economic empowerment—featuring over 500 small business vendors to promote their brands and grow their customer base. Attendees of all ages enjoy live entertainment, cultural exhibits, kids' activities, food trucks, and opportunities to support local entrepreneurs.

Sardines! Sardines! Called “the funniest farce ever written,” Noises Off takes a fond look at the follies of theatre folk, whose susceptibility to out-of-control egos, memory loss, and passionate affairs turn every performance into a high-risk adventure. This play-within-a-play captures a touring theatre troupe’s production of Nothing On in three stages: dress rehearsal, the opening performance, and a performance towards the end of a debilitating run.

Students and employers are invited to attend a free networking event on National Intern Day. Hosted by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas at Dallas College – Cedar Valley, the event will bring together local students and small, medium, and large employers for an opportunity to network, connect, and learn together.
Students will have the opportunity to take professional headshots, and participate in roundtable interviews to gain real-life, one-on-one experience with an employer. Employers can expect to meet with motivated students from high schools and colleges and will learn how to receive reimbursements for hosting an internship. The event will feature an exciting agenda with motivational speakers including keynote speaker Micah Autry. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required.
