Intersection to close for DART construction

Coppell—Construction operations for the DART Silver Line are ongoing, and MacArthur Boulevard will be fully closed from 6 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 15 to 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 18 to allow DART crews to perform work at the railroad crossing. Both north- and southbound traffic will be detoured around the construction zone, and motorists should utilize Mockingbird Lane, Riverchase Drive, and Fairway Drive.

Residents and businesses in this area should expect to hear construction activity during the following work hours:

Friday, September 15: 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Saturday, September 16: 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Sunday, September 17: 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Monday, September 18: 6 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Increased traffic is expected at this intersection during the full road closure. Please avoid the area and utilize an alternate route.
