STAR Transit Moves Forward to Update Public Transit Services in Lancaster and Hutchins.

TERRELL, TX—Aug. 27, 2025—STAR Transit is encouraging all Lancaster and Hutchins residents and
businesses to participate in upcoming public meetings to discuss service updates scheduled to begin
Oct. 1.
“STAR Transit is always working to support our riders and make transit a reliable choice for more
people,” said Executive Director Tommy Henricks. “With traffic congestion and road construction
affecting travel, public transit can have a positive impact on people’s daily lives. In early September, we
are holding meetings to discuss service updates in Lancaster and Hutchins and to hear from the
community. There will be two meetings in Hutchins on the same day, so more people can participate.
We invite all to join us.”
Lancaster In-person Public Meeting
When: Wednesday, September 10, 2025 @ 12:30 pm
Where: Senior Life Center, 240 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Lancaster, TX 75134
Hutchins In-person Public Meetings
When: Thursday, September 11, 2025 @ 10:30 am and 6:30 pm
Where: Hutchins Senior Center, 500 W Hickman St, Hutchins, TX 75141
