Feedback needed on draft pro housing grant application

Irving—The city of Irving's Housing and Redevelopment division plans to apply for federal Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant funds, and the city is seeking public comments on the proposed application. The PRO Housing is a competitive grant administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to identify and remove barriers to affordable housing production and preservation.

A 15-day public comment period begins on Oct. 13 and ends Oct. 27 at 5 p.m. All comments must be submitted in writing:

Mail to City of Irving, Housing and Redevelopment Division, 825 W. Irving Blvd., Irving TX 75060.

Submit in person to the Housing and Redevelopment Division, First Floor, Irving City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd.

Residents are also encouraged to attend a Public Hearing on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. at Irving City Hall. The public hearing will be held during the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting.
