Dallas—Three Dallas College athletic teams are National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III champs. As the sounds of celebration echo through Dallas College, the teams are sharing their stories of triumph.

“I am beyond proud of these three teams. Three championship titles in one weekend is incredible, but they also made history,” Sadiaa Jones, Dallas College executive athletic director, said. “Our Eastfield volleyball team had a perfect season at 35-0, which has never been done in the DAC or NJCAA at our level. Our Brookhaven women’s soccer team won their third consecutive title, and fifth in seven years, while our Richland men’s soccer team won their sixth consecutive title, and 12th in program history. No one in NJCAA history has done that.

“It is an honor to watch our athletes’ hard work and dedication, on and off the field, payoff on a national stage. To watch them do what they love, learn life lessons, and earn a degree is inspiring. We have some incredible coaches and student athletes here at Dallas College, and I am excited about the future of Dallas College athletics.”

Dallas College Richland Thunderducks men’s soccer team brought home a national trophy for the sixth time in a row and the 12th time in total, the most of any team in NJCAA Division III history. The Thunderducks finished their regular season with a 12-3-1 record and were ranked No. 2 going into the tournament. They finished the season with 10 shutouts.

Dallas College Brookhaven Bears women’s soccer team brought home its third straight NJCAA Division III trophy. They are only the second team in NJCAA Division III history to three-peat, and at five national titles in total, hold more than any other team in Division III history. The Bears finished their season 15-2-1.

Dallas College Eastfield Harvester Bees volleyball team had a perfect season (35-0) and were ranked No. 1 going into the tournament. This is the second national title for the Harvester Bees who won the championship in 2017 and were runners up the following year.
