Women arrested for aiding murder suspect

Irving—The Irving Police Department served two warrants on Jan. 25 in connection to the investigation and search for Hector Vicente Paguada, 35 years of age, (name and age updated to match birth certificate), who is wanted for capital murder.

Nicolle Martinez Tome (34 years of age) and Yudi Mabel Paguada Ruiz (30 years of age) were both arrested for “Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence” (Texas Penal Code - PENAL §  37.09). Tome’s bond was set at $25,000, but she has since bonded out of the Irving City Jail.

Ruiz is currently in custody at the Dallas County Jail, and her bond is set at $75,000.

Both suspects are believed to have aided Paguada (“Matute”) in eluding law enforcement and tampered with evidence.  

The search continues for Paguada (“Matute”). The police ask the community to stay vigilant and to call 9-1-1 immediately if they know his whereabouts. Please do not attempt to contact or apprehend the suspect. Police urge people to report anyone who may have assisted or is currently assisting the suspect.
