Police investigate traffic fatality

Grand Prairie—The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred on Sunday, April 7. At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.

The motorcycle was traveling south in the 1400 block of South Carrier Parkway when the operator for unknown reasons lost control and collided with a guardrail. The operator was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner's office will identify the deceased once the next of kin have been notified.

This collision remains under investigation.
