Police make murder case arrest

Irving—Officers responded to reports of a shooting at a Wingstop, located in the 960 block of E Irving Blvd, on June 3 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered one male victim deceased and one male victim injured.

The second shooting victim was transported to a local hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Prior to the officer's arrival, the suspect, Marc Leon, 22 years of age, fled on foot. Patrol officers located the suspect within 10 minutes of the incident and took him into custody. A firearm was recovered.

During the investigation, it was learned that an argument had taken place between Leon, an employee at the location, and the deceased victim, who was also an employee at this location. The victim told the suspect to leave the location, at which time the suspect presented a firearm and shot the victim multiple times. The second victim, who is also an employee at this location, was struck by stray bullets.
