Students win 1st at DI Global Finals

Irving—The Singley Academy Destination Imagination team, Duck Duck Goose, recently competed in the Global Finals and earned first place in the University Level Scientific Challenge.

In this category, teams conducted scientific research and presented their findings. The criteria included:

Create and present a story about a character whose discovery of an artifact leads to a finding.

Include an archaeological investigation that contributes to the finding.

Design and create a puppet that will portray a character from the past.

Create and present two Team Choice Elements that show off the team’s interests, skills, areas of strength, and talents.

The members of Duck Duck Goose include Kyndin Breaux, Erick De La Cruz, Sophia Herrera, Joseph Muniz, Katy Nguyen, Sandra Rocha Moreno and Sneha Shrestha.
