From the City of Irving: Interchange Closures Through Oct. 12

TxDOT will perform overnight work on SH 114, SH 183, Spur 482 and Loop 12 through Oct. 12. Expect lane and road closures, with delays and heavy traffic affecting the surrounding highways, frontage roads and streets.

In addition, the eastbound SH 183 express/HOV lanes will be closed nightly 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7 through Friday, Oct. 11.

Loop 12

The southbound Loop 12 entrance ramp between Grauwyler and Union Bower Roads will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7 though Friday, Oct. 11.

The northbound Loop 12 direct connector to eastbound SH 183 will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7 though Friday, Oct. 11.

The northbound Loop 12 direct connector to westbound SH 183 will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7 though Friday, Oct. 11.

Spur 482

The southbound Spur 482 direct connector to SH 183 will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7 though Friday, Oct. 11.

The southbound Spur 482 frontage road will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7 though Friday, Oct. 11.

SH 183

The westbound SH 183 direct connector to southbound Loop 12 will be closed Friday, Oct. 4, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. and again nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7 though Friday, Oct. 11.

The eastbound SH 183 direct connector to southbound Loop 12 will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7 though Friday, Oct. 11.

The eastbound SH 183 express/HOV lanes will be closed will be closed nightly, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7 though Friday, Oct. 11.

The eastbound SH 183 direct connector to Spur 482 will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7 though Friday, Oct. 11.

Detours will be marked with signage. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes when possible and to slow down through construction zones.

IRVING INTERCHANGE PROJECT

This work is part of the ongoing $301 million Irving Interchange project that will reconstruct the interchanges at SH 183, SH 114, Loop 12 and Spur 482. The project is anticipated to be completed in fall 2024, weather permitting. TxDOT is urging motorists to use caution in the work zone.
