Dogs glam at fashion show
Coppell—The Coppell Arts Center Foundation hosted a fashion show for dogs and their owners on Oct. 5. Dogs and their people could enter categories such as most glam, superhero, and best duo.
“We wanted to bring awareness to pet adoption because that is the focus of the fashion show,” Tina Chapmin, a show participant, said.
Chrissy and Missy, Chrissy’s dog, entered the most glam contest and rocked posh outfits on the runway. “Missy has been participating on my Instagram for a little while, so I decided to be a part of this community event,” Chrissy Berman said.
Devina Prabhaka’s daughter and dog dressed in cow prints. “This event is super fun for me and my daughter,” Prabhaka said.
During the event, Coppell Animal Services offered free pet tagging devices, and the Coppell Humane Society raised money for foster pets.
