Tyler police arrest suspect

Irving-– The Irving Police Department was notified by the Tyler Police Department of the arrest of Patrick Francis Hoversten in Tyler, TX, on Nov. 13. Hoversten is currently in the Smith County jail awaiting transfer to the Irving jail. 

Original story:

A suspect described as a white male between 50 and 60 years old walked into an establishment near SH-183 and Esters Rd on Nov. 10.  

The suspect approached a female employee and forced her into the back room, where she was assaulted.  

This suspect has been identified as Patrick Francis Hoversten of Sonoma, California. Hoversten is employed as a truck driver and is believed to be in the Laredo, TX, area. The Irving Police Department has a warrant out for his arrest.
