Motorcyclist dies in traffic accident

Grand Prairie—The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred in the 2400 block of W. Bardin Road at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Jan. 16.

A Hyundai passenger car was traveling east on Bardin Road when the driver attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot, colliding with a Honda motorcycle operator who was traveling westbound. The single motorcycle operator was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Hyundai suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin have been notified.

This collision remains under investigation.
