Irving:  Wizard of Oz, Presented by Momentum Dance Company
April 10, 11 & 12, 7 p.m.
Irving Arts Center
When a Kansas tornado transports Dorothy and her dog, Toto, to the magical land of Oz, they embark on a journey of self-discovery in order to find their way home. They follow the Yellow Brick Road to Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and along the way they meet the Scarecrow, who wants a brain, the Tin Man who is missing a heart, and the Cowardly Lion who would like to find some courage. 
 

Cedar Hill Park: April Full Moon Hike
April 11, 7:30 -8:30 p.m.
Cedar Hill State Park
Join us for a Full Moon Hike under the April Pink Moon.
During this ranger-led hike, we will be exploring the nocturnal adaptations of different animals and testing out our own senses in the dark. The hike will take place along the Talala Trail.
Bring: Water, and a snack if you need one.
Wear: Good shoes for walking and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with a $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.

Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost in Canada. It’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So, it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. 
 

Desoto: Easter Eggstravaganza

The Easter Bunny is on the way! Join us for the Easter Eggstravaganza for children of all ages. There will be lots of Easter eggs up for grabs.
Enjoy a variety of games and activities suitable for all ages.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic and free event! Grand Prairie animal services and Operation Kindness will be putting on a kitten class!
Learn how to help out the smallest members of the community by getting hands on experience bottle feeding neonatal kittens!
This class is 100% free but there will be T-shirts and Tank tops for sale!

This one-stop shop event will connect families with resources and information needed to guarantee a successful start to the 2025-2026 school year!
 •Register in-person for the 2025-2026 school year and get hands-on assistance
 •Enjoy FREE food at the district food show and vote on Food and Nutrition menu items for next school year
 •Get immunizations on the spot, by appointment
 •Take a tour of the state-of-the-art Magda A. Hernández Institute of Wellness and Professional Learning (MAHI)
